On September 25, 2006, Steve Gleason made a tremendous play by blocking a punt early the first quarter of the Saints first home game since Hurricane Katrina.

Even though they would later one day raise as statue at the Superdome of his play as tribute to New Orleans and his resilience, it is his relationship with Pearl Jam that is special especially as it pertains to his son.
