Curried Green Beans

  • 3 cups of Green Beans (frozen or fresh)
  • ¼ cup Sliced Almonds
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 2 teaspoons Curry Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt

  1. Preheat a medium size sauté pan. Add olive oil and butter.
  2. Once butter has melted, add the almonds & the curry powder
  3. Sauté the almonds until golden. Add the salt and toss.
  4. Add the green beans and toss to combine almonds and green beans
  5. Cover and let green beans steam until done.

You may wish to use more or less curry powder. It’s really a matter of taste. Same thing with the salt and the almonds. This recipe scales well. I have quadrupled it for catering gigs and the only thing you have to watch is the amount of curry powder you use.
