Big vocals Big Music

One of my favorite albums of the 70's is Bat Out Of Hell by Jim Steinman & Meat Loaf. It was produced by the incomparable Todd Rundgren. I love it's bombastic, hyper produced, bigger than Texas sound. I know it's not necessarily a piece of rock that many people would find indicative of great albums of the 70's, but you gotta admit, Meatloaf had some pipes.

I know Meat Loaf came out in support of Mitt Romney, but, his politics don't diminish my love of this little corner of 70's pop. Here's to hoping that he didn't take last Tuesday's result too hard.
